Accounts Receivable Officer - 12 Month Contract

The Accounts Receivable Officer role at Arup involves managing all aspects of accounts receivable administration, including invoicing, credit notes, and month-end processes. This position requires proactive management of the debtors ledger to ensure timely collection of cash and effective communication with both internal and external clients.
The Opportunity
- Act as a liaison between the Shared Services Centre (SSC) UK and Australasian businesses on all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function.
- Perform regular reviews of unallocated cash and coordinate refunds to clients as required.
- Review and approve Arup project fee, sundry invoices, and credit notes, ensuring accuracy and validity.
- Proactively follow up on unpaid invoices and manage the accounts receivable inbox, responding to client requests within 24 hours.
- Attend Geography debtor meetings, contribute to improving cash outcomes, and manage solutions to complex debt collection issues.
Is this role right for you?
- 5 years of experience in a relevant Accounts Receivable role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of JDE.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, particularly during periods of high workload.
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to remain positively motivated and assist others in meeting deadlines
