We are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join our growing team in Cork City

We have over 700 staff working in Ireland based in Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Limerick.

Our growing Cork Architecture team is connected to our architectural practices in the UK, Europe, the Americas, Australasia, and East Asia. In the coming years, we have a vision to grow and diversify our technical and sustainability offering in collaboration with our established business portfolios.

We are looking for people who would like to join this community of Architects and Architectural Technologists in a mission to Shape a Better World by designing meaningful buildings that are sensitive to environmental and human needs whilst taking advantage of digital advancements.

Your responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Architectural Technologist who has extensive knowledge of detailing, brings a creative approach to problem solving and can support construction delivery onsite.

Working directly with our Senior Architectural Technologist, you will provide support to project teams working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment for the successful technical delivery of projects from the concept phase through detailed design, construction and handover on our high-profile Science, Industry and Technology (SIT) projects.

You will join a vibrant, diverse, multidisciplinary office in Cork.

Your Education/Profile

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Technology.

·         Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience.

·         Experience in producing detail design packages, specifications and delivering projects through detailed design, construction and handover in Ireland or the UK.

·         Skilled in REVIT and good knowledge of a BIM environment.

·         Knowledge of the Irish Building Regulations and BCAR system.

·         Proven experience in the delivery of complex, highly technical projects working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

·         Ability to collaborate with other disciplines to produce fully coordinated project information including BIM models, drawings, schedules, and specifications.

·         Project experience working on complex buildings is desirable.

·         Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges with good team-spirit.

·         Fluency in spoken and written English and strong communication skills are essential.
