The Opportunity
The Structure team is strengthening its structural design expertise and project delivery capability to support growing project demands, technical excellence, and sustainable development objectives across Macau and the Greater Bay Area.  The ideal candidate will operate as a project-based design engineer, providing technical support and reliable deliverables at the project level, while working closely with structural, civil, geotechnical, MEP and architectural teams to deliver integrated solutions. The candidate will also contribute to project coordination, technical documentation, and quality assurance activities in support of project managers and senior engineers.

•    Assist in planning and designing structural systems for diverse projects, gaining experience in collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure structural integrity.
•    Participate in structural analysis, calculations, and load testing activities, while focusing on specifying appropriate materials and components to meet safety standards and code requirements. Keep abreast of the latest developments in structural engineering, actively seeking opportunities for professional growth and staying informed about evolving design trends.
•    Assist in coordinating project activities to align with overarching goals and address minor conflicts and challenges. Monitor project progress and interdependencies, offering support and seeking guidance from senior colleagues as needed.
•    Collaborate with the team to assist in creating detailed design models and simulations for engineering and architectural projects, gaining foundational knowledge in design modelling.
•    Collaborate with the team to assist in preparing technical drawings and documentation for engineering and construction projects, gaining foundational knowledge in technical drafting.

Is this role right for you? 
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural engineering, or a related discipline.
•    Minimum 3 years of post-graduation relevant structural engineering design experience within a consulting business environment;
•    Proficiency in ETABs/SAP2000/SAFE/AutoCAD/Revit/Oasys GSA/AdSec;
•    Familiar with design guidelines, standards, code of practice, statutory regulation, submission and approval procedures to local private sectors and relevant public authorities;
•    Relevant experience in government, residential, commercial, resorts or infrastructure projects;
•    Proficiency in both writing and spoken English and Chinese;
•    Self-motivated, good team player, proactive and willing to learn with strong interpersonal skills.
