This role provides consulting and project management support to a range of client projects across transport infrastructure, energy, water, and science & industry sectors. It is well suited to candidates with project management experience, or those looking to build their skills and exposure across these industries.

The Opportunity

  • Support the delivery of project management and advisory assignments, working closely with Senior Project Managers to achieve high-quality outcomes while maintaining strong commercial outcome.
  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day project activities across design, construction, and advisory projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables are effectively managed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through regular engagement, project meetings, and proactive communication.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including the preparation of bids, proposals, business cases, feasibility studies, and other client-facing deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, resource plans, financial controls, risk and issue registers, meeting records, procurement documentation, and project reports, while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Is this role right for you?

  • Minimally 2+ years of experience in project management, project delivery, or a related consulting environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, business, built environment, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and project lifecycle delivery across complex projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Eligible for, or working towards, professional membership with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), Project Management Institute (PMI), or a comparable professional body
