You will contribute to the growth and delivery of Arup’s ICT and Audio-Visual consulting services across Malaysia and the wider region. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and delivering high-quality ICT and AV solutions that meet client expectations and align with industry best practices. You will support project delivery while helping drive business growth through technical excellence and collaboration.

The Opportunity

·         Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and integrate ICT and Audio-Visual systems, including understanding system components, signal flows, and integration principles.

·         Design ICT physical infrastructure such as structured cabling, outside plant, ICT rooms, Wi-Fi systems, containment, and risers.

·         Lead requirements capture, technical assessments, and the development of compliant, effective strategies and solutions.

·         Participate in construction site visits to monitor ICT works for compliance, working closely with other disciplines.

·         Coordinate and produce project drawings (schematics, layouts, installation details, rack elevations) using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD in line with company and project standards.

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

·         A recognised tertiary qualification in ICT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 4 years’ experience in ICT and telecommunications systems.

·         Strong knowledge of passive ICT systems, with working knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and exposure to active systems such as Wi-Fi or GSM as an advantage.

·         Proven ability to take ownership of tasks, solve problems, and guide teams and clients toward practical solutions.

·         Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage time, coordinate deliverables, and engage effectively with stakeholders.

·         A proactive mindset with an understanding of best practices, commercial awareness, and a desire to continuously improve project outcomes and team performance.
