As a MEP BIM Lead at Arup, your primary focus will be to lead the integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies across multidisciplinary engineering projects. You’ll take ownership of developing, managing, and coordinating detailed BIM models that drive design accuracy and construction efficiency.

The Opportunity

•    Lead BIM implementation and coordination across projects, managing model accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company standards.
•    Guide and develop a team of M&E BIM coordinators and technicians, delivering training and establishing BIM best practices.
•    Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across design, engineering, and construction disciplines.
•    Drive the creation and maintenance of BIM content (templates, families) and execute BIM Execution Plans for high-profile projects.
•    Conduct design reviews, clash detections, and technical audits, ensuring quality and resolving conflicts across project models.

Is this role right for you?

•    A recognised qualification in engineering or a related field, with over 10 years’ experience in MEP Building Services within a consulting environment.
•    Advanced proficiency in BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, with a track record of delivering BIM across all project phases.
•    Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire high-performing BIM teams.
•    A strategic and solutions-focused mindset, able to tackle complex problems and promote innovation in digital delivery.
•    Proven experience in developing and enforcing BIM strategies, standards, and workflows in large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
