Join Arup Malaysia as a Senior Technician/Modeller, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality 2D technical drawings and Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions. You'll lead BIM projects, ensuring accurate data management and documentation within a common data environment (CDE), while also supporting cross-discipline collaboration. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of infrastructure projects with a focus on innovation and quality.

The Opportunity 

•    Produce technical drawings and BIM models for the Infrastructure Services team.
•    Ensure accuracy and quality in compliance with Arup and project standards, meeting deadlines efficiently.
•    Lead and coordinate a team to deliver various projects while maintaining adherence to CDE standards.
•    Conduct virtual design reviews and produce coordination reports to identify and address project issues.
•    Assist with resource management, task assignment, and team recruitment to support project needs.

Is this role right for you? 

•    Extensive knowledge and experience in technical drawing production, BIM modelling, or related engineering areas.
•    Proficiency in software applications such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Navisworks, with advanced skills in at least two other BIM tools.
•    Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and building project coordination.
•    Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    A commitment to professional development and the ability to foster a positive team environment under pressure.
