We are seeking a highly motivated civil and structure engineer with a drive to learn, innovate with digital tools, and explore new ideas to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, coordination, and project control of infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include liaising with internal and external parties, attending meetings, managing communication records, and coordinating statutory submissions. The candidate will work under minimal supervision, ensuring the quality and accuracy of their work while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. In addition, they will prepare design drawings, reports, and other documentation, and represent the team at external meetings.

The Opportunity 

•    Assist in the design and coordination of civil and structural engineering for major infrastructure projects.
•    Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the production of accurate and high-quality engineering designs.
•    Attend meetings and maintain clear communication records with clients and teams.
•    Oversee statutory submissions and the production of technical reports and drawings for rail and road infrastructure projects.
•    Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to multidisciplinary project efforts.

Is this role right for you? 

•    Recognized tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
•    Proven experience in civil and structural engineering design, particularly in a consulting business environment.
•    Strong knowledge of relevant engineering design software and regulations, including the Corenet E-submission system.
•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a passion for contributing to a team-oriented environment.
