This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with industry-leading professionals, and help shape resilient and secure environments throughout the region.

The Opportunity

·       Deliver Security-by-Design projects from concept through to operation, including risk assessments, security planning, detailed design, tender support, construction administration, and operational readiness.

·       Prepare and review high-quality technical reports, proposals, risk assessments, and advisory documentation that meet professional and client standards.

·       Build strong client relationships by understanding business needs, providing strategic advice, and developing practical and innovative security solutions.

·       Manage project tasks effectively, ensuring quality, budget, and programme objectives are achieved while contributing to team development and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

·       A recognised tertiary qualification in Security, Risk Management, Public Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

·       Strong knowledge of Security-by-Design principles, security risk management methodologies, and industry frameworks such as ISO 31000, FEMA 452, and the Bowtie Method.

·       Experience supporting security and risk projects within sectors such as aviation, transport, critical infrastructure, healthcare, data centres, or similar environments.

·       Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills, with the ability to work confidently in a client-facing and collaborative consulting environment.

·       A proactive, innovative, and team-oriented approach, with strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and a commitment to professional growth and knowledge sharing.
