The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Autodesk Civil 3D specialist with expertise in Subassembly Composer (SAC) and Pipe Network Catalogue Development to support major infrastructure, highways, rail, utilities, and drainage projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing custom Civil 3D digital design components, including corridor subassemblies, pressure network catalogues, gravity pipe catalogues, parts lists, and associated automation workflows. The role will act as a bridge between project engineering teams and digital engineering teams, ensuring that design standards are translated into robust, reusable digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

This role focuses on developing custom Civil 3D Subassemblies using Autodesk Subassembly Composer, creating rule-based and parametric PKT files for highways, railways, utilities, drainage, and earthworks projects. Responsibilities include building reusable corridor components, implementing advanced modelling logic, troubleshooting and enhancing existing PKT libraries, and ensuring outputs meet engineering standards. The role also involves developing and maintaining custom Pipe Network Catalogues, including pipe and structure families, pressure networks, design rules, and client-specific libraries. In addition, the individual supports engineering teams with complex corridor modelling challenges, provides technical guidance to Civil 3D users, develops automation solutions using Dynamo, C#, Python, or Power Automate, and contributes to digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives across infrastructure projects.

Is this role right for you?

  • Degree in Civil, Utilities, Infrastructure Engineering, or equivalent experience..
  • 9+ years of overall experience, including at least 5 years of advanced Autodesk Civil 3D expertise
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, highways, drainage, and utility projects
  • Strong knowledge of corridors, assemblies, feature lines, pipe networks, pressure networks, data shortcuts, and Subassembly Composer (SAC).
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders..
  • Willingness to learn, mentor others, and continuously develop technical skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to quality, safety, and professional standards..
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach, with confidence in addressing technical challenges and inconsistencies.
