About this career opportunity...
In this role as an Environmental (contamination) Consultant, you’ll be working closely with other Arup teams (e.g. other environmental specialists, planners, geotechnical and building engineers and infrastructure civil engineers) to deliver integrated multi-disciplinary consultancy services to a wide range of different clients. There will be opportunities to promote other environmental teams, such as EIA, air quality, archaeology and ecology, through which you can develop broader environmental knowledge. • Working under the direction of senior staff and disclosing work with graduates and other junior staff,
• Designing and supervising [contamination] ground investigations/ contractors, including site work, scheduling chemical testing and checking factual investigation reports and invoices (note that Arup does not undertake the site work, we design and supervise in conjunction with geotechnical colleagues).
• Assessing and managing data, particularly using GIS, OpenGround, Excel, risk assessment software and other tools such as 3D modelling in Leapfrog,
At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share, and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.
