The Opportunity

As a Nature-Based Solutions Graduate at Arup, you will:

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams on the design and delivery of cutting-edge NbS projects.
  • Apply your academic knowledge to real-world sustainability challenges, contributing to technical analysis, research, and reporting.
  • Gain valuable industry exposure and build your professional network through site visits, client meetings, and project workshops.
  • Be empowered to contribute to a more sustainable future by working on projects that integrate nature into our cities and communities.

 

Does this role inspire you?

 

We're looking for graduates who are passionate about nature-based solutions, sustainability, and creating a positive impact on the environment. We also value:

 

  • A recent degree (or expected graduation) in Environmental Science, Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Water Resources), Architecture, Urban Planning, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eagerness to learn and apply new concepts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to contribute effectively to a collaborative environment.
  • Fluency in German and English.
