Façade Engineer

As a Façade Engineer you will be part of an international and multidisciplinary façade team, working on a wide range of projects across Italy and Europe. You will work closely with architects and other building professionals to help design and deliver innovative, high‑quality buildings, while developing your technical capability and professional judgement.
As a Façade Engineer at Arup, you will:
Support the production of drawings, sketches, and 3D models using CAD and BIM (Revit) platforms.
Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and contribute to the drafting of technical reports.
Carry out structural and thermal analysis of façade systems under guidance.
Support the review and checking of drawings and technical submissions from sub-contractors.
Support in the development of façade and roof A&M strategies.
Collaborate with other team members, understanding their needs and maintaining open communication throughout project development.
Prepare visual presentations, reports and other documents related to project deliverables.
Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for graduates who are passionate about facades and building envelopes. We also value:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or Architecture, with prior related internship and preferably 1 years of experience in facade engineering.
Experience with structural analysis and 3D design tools such as Straus7, Mepla, Rhino, Grasshopper.
Experience with Revit for modelling and detailing.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, precision and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn, a collaborative mindset, and strong communication skills.
Fluency in both English and Italian.
