As a Façade Designer, you will develop the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver high-quality consultancy services across façade and building envelope design. You will contribute through modelling, analytical research, and detailed design work within your specialist area.

The Opportunity

 

·       Deliver defined design tasks and take ownership of specific components of external projects with minimal supervision.

·       Support senior team members in analysis, design development, and preparation of specifications, proposals, and technical documentation.

·       Ensure the accuracy and quality of your work (and occasionally others’), producing reports, presentations, and project deliverables on time.

·       Participate in client meetings, contribute to tender submissions, and help strengthen relationships to support business growth.

·       Assist in maintaining quality systems, compliance standards, and health & safety requirements across projects and the wider office.

Is this role right for you?

 

·       A relevant degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, with experience in façade, building, or sustainability design (including internships).

·       Working knowledge of digital design and analysis tools such as Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Strand7, IES, or similar.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply standard methods to deliver effective design solutions.

·       Clear communication and report-writing abilities, with confidence engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·       A proactive mindset with strong organisational skills, professionalism, and a drive to learn, improve, and contribute to team success.
