Primary Focus
- Financial Accountant Australia and New Zealand
- Working within the Global Financial Accounting team, the Financial Accountant will be required to assist in joint operation financial administration, annual / interim financial statements, audit and other various duties across financial accounting team whilst providing excellent customer service to both external and internal clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Accounting
- Month end and Year-end journals and review
- Monthly joint operation reporting and payment administration
- Quarterly joint operation GST return
- Completion in statutory reporting packs for Australian / NZ Companies
- Assist statutory reporting packs for Group companies
- Completion in Yearend reporting tax packs
- Ad hoc financial reports, disclosures and analysis
- Assist Fringe Benefits General Ledger analysis
Qualifications
- Must have a recognised relevant tertiary qualification in finance or similar area
- Qualified or studying for a professional qualification such as CPA or CA
- Relevant industry experience 2 years in a professional services / consulting business environment would be advantageous
- Proficiency in JDE Edwards would be desirable.

- Intermediate / advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Knowledge of other MS office applications – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

- Excellent organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently if required
- The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to communicate with staff at all levels.
- They will be able to demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach to their work
- They will be able to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A very strong internal and external client focus and willing to provide support to both finance staff and others.
