The Head of Financial Projects & Initiatives, APAC role at Arup involves driving high-impact financial initiatives that support the Asia Pacific region’s strategic growth and transformation. This position requires partnering closely with the APAC CFO and other senior stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and report on strategic initiatives aimed at improving financial outcomes.
The Opportunity
• Be a trusted advisor to APAC CFO in key strategic and transformation initiatives across the region, aligning with regional priorities while addressing geographical and portfolio needs.
• Influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights, clear communication, and a strategic mindset. Develop and produce compelling storytelling to support decision-making.
• Drive strategy planning, scenario modelling, and strategic decision-making that improve revenue growth, profitability margins, and operational efficiencies.
• Drive business case development for major investments, acquisitions, and external market opportunities. Evaluate and be a subject matter lead on investment return outcomes.
• Coordinate across business and functions to align priorities, track initiatives, and drive accountability.
• Partner closely with Geography Heads of Finance and APAC Head of FP&A and influence teams to ensure key strategic initiatives are integrated with financial planning, business partnering and reporting.
• Facilitate key meetings, strategy reviews, and operational updates for the APAC CFO and Leadership.
• Drive digital finance initiatives, including automation, dashboarding and visualisations with support of the Business Intelligence Analyst.

Is this role right for you?
• Degree or professional qualifications in business or finance.
• Proven experience in FP&A, business partnering, finance transformation, data analytics, and/or strategy consulting.
• Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex financial insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience with finance technology, data analytics, and process automation, including creating data-driven visualization
