The HR team in Amsterdam plays an essential role in supporting our employees throughout their careers at Arup. As part of a small, dedicated team working within a larger European framework, trust and openness are at the core of how we collaborate. Together, we provide top-tier HR service, ensuring that our people have the support they need to thrive. From onboarding to HR reporting, your work will directly impact our ability to create a positive and supportive work environment.
In this role, you will work closely with the local HR Leader, HR Business Partner, Payroll Specialist, and European Compensation & Benefits Officer. As a small team, we value trust, openness, and collaboration, allowing us to provide the best service and support to our colleagues.
- Respond to first-line employee inquiries on policies, procedures, compensation, leave, and absenteeism.
- Manage HR administration from A-Z, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract administration.
- Provide HR reporting on absenteeism, turnover, and exit polls
- Support the HR annual cycle, including performance reviews, Profit Share, and salary reviews.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people and ensuring smooth HR operations. We also value:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an HR Administrator.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English (oral and written)
- A minimum educational level of MBO 4 / MEAO, with relevant working experience at HBO / bachelor’s degree level.
- Experience with ADP is an advantage
