HR Advisor

Shape a future with purpose at Arup in Warsaw or Krakow

Arup has been operating in the Polish market since 1998, creating technical solutions and supporting clients throughout the entire investment process – from concept, through design, supervision, and project handover, to the operational phase.

Our first project in Poland was the Opel factory in Gliwice. We have a team of around 200 engineers, consultants, and skilled technical staff. We work with both public and private sector clients, delivering creative and sustainable solutions based on the efficient use of resources.

The Opportunity:

As an HR Advisor at Arup, you will:

  • Support and manage any HR projects/ programs as needed by the Senior HRBP
  • Provide guidance to staff and line managers on regular day to day HR related queries, low level employee relations concerns: staff legal advice, performance management, internal communications, Ovacode queries.
  • Support Senior HRBP in the implementation of HR Programmes, policies, procedures and issues in line with the HR strategy.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to requests for assistance and support across all HR functions in the Group.
  • Prepare proactively various reports and analysis, and research for Senior HRBP when needed such as absence, vacation, types of leave, EDI etc.
  • Monitor market trends in HR e.g., absence, reward, leaves, training etc
  • Support internal learning and development initiatives and future skills requirements
  • Manage simply employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absences and performance management, etc.
  • Provide accurate, timely data to enable correct and timely payroll processing
  • Manage personal data in the systems adhering to GDPR compliance
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Team to identify and attract top talent and assess skills and requirements for managerial positions
  • Act as a liaison between employees and line management, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work culture

Does this role inspire you?

We are looking for an HR professional, passionate about business partnering and working with people on a regular, daily basis. 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within an international company
  • Very good command of English (min. B2 level)
  • Knowledge of labor law in Poland and strong command of HR processes
  • Very good knowledge and practical use of MS Office tools such as Power Point, Excel, Power BI
  • Demonstrable ability to analyze and understand data and information
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Nice to have: Insights Discovery trainer license
