The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-calibre Infrastructure Engineer work in collaborative multi-disciplinary team and share your technical knowledge to create innovative project solutions while you work under the supervision of the high-quality environmental engineers in Istanbul Office. You will have the chance to work in collaboration with international offices, supporting small- and large-scale projects.
As a Infrastructure Engineer at Arup, you will:
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior leaders and project managers.
Preparation of infrastructure desk study reports,
Preparation of design drawings and technical specifications,
Performing calculations and preparing repo

We're looking for someone who is passionate about work on a variety of prestigious projects in Türkiye and overseas. We also value:
Bachelor and/or Master degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from reputable universities,
Minimum 3 years of design experience, preferably in design of rail and highway drainage project, site infrastructure development (site plan, grading, earthworks), infrastructure master planning,
Experience in stormwater management and urban hydrology,
Experience in sustainable drainage system,
Experience in utility distributions, utility diversion, river/channel flow calculations,
Experience in flood risk management, catchment, and culvert calculations,
Understanding of various construction techniques used locally and internationally,
Working knowledge of standard computer programs (MS Office, Microstation, AutoCAD, GIS),
Knowledge and experience on common numerical analysis and data management software as a user (e.g Mike, Hec RAS, Stormcad, Civil 3D, Urbano, MS Kanal),
Experience on design to local and major international codes,
Good command of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and other related software tools,
Good command of English, both written and spoken,
Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment,
Self-motivated, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
Ability to liaise and communicate with-in integrated multidisciplinary teams,
Effective communication and presentation skills,
Able to work as an effective team member,
Available to work flexible hours to catch the tight deadlines,
No travel restrictions (national & international)
Have a driver's license,
For male candidates, military service must be completed.
