The Enterprise Analytics team, within Data Services, operates under Arup’s CDO. We work very closely with global and regional corporate services and project teams, maker and user groups, business analysts and marketing groups to help identify, implement, and support business requirements relating to the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. Our team oversees the governance of Power Platform and Power BI globally.

We have an opportunity for a Junior Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Analytics team, where you will be given the opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced team members. You will be developing analytics and AI solutions with our tools including Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power BI, Foundry and Databricks. You will work collaboratively with Analysts, Developers, Data Scientists, Consultants, Solution Architects, subject-matter experts within the business to ensure the products and services meet the needs of the business and provide value. With your work, you will be promoting the adoption, use and best practices of across the Analytics and AI space.
On a typical day, you split your time between hands on data modelling and analysis, applying AI supportive analytical thinking to improve how data is structured, interpreted, and used. You work closely with colleagues to solve data related problems and translate requirements into practical data solutions. You are increasingly taking ownership of the quality, consistency, and reliability of the data that feeds into AI capabilities and reporting systems.

Hiring Range – The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is $85,000 to $90,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York will differ.
