The Opportunity

This is your chance to be part of the landscaping team, where you will join the broader City Planning and Design team, an area focused on city planning and development while seeking a balance between social, economic, and environmental dimensions. The team integrates sustainability and innovation into all development proposals.

 

As a Junior Landscape Consultant at Arup, you will:

  • Be involved in tasks related to landscape development, from conceptualization in strategic projects to defining execution criteria.
  • Work on multidisciplinary coordination and integration tasks and contribute to project communication with other teams and clients.
  • Join a dynamic team and participate in cutting-edge projects within the department.
  • Be exposed to strategic urban projects and multidisciplinary teams, typically comprising architects, landscape designers, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists, economists, and lawyers.

 

Does this role inspire you?

We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture, or alternatively, Architecture or Engineering with knowledge of landscaping.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the responsibilities described above.
  • Proficiency in CAD is essential.
  • Fluent level of English and Spanish skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Enthusiasm for working on international projects and interest in sustainability and innovation.
  • Strong graphical communication skills (hand drawing, illustration, modeling).

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in preparing construction details for urbanization and landscaping.
  • Interest in natural infrastructure projects and nature-based solutions.
  • Technical knowledge of botany and species selection.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software, Revit.
  • Interest in urban planning, land use, and development.
