The Opportunity

This is your chance to be part of the City Planning & Design team, an area that is dedicated, among other things, to the planning and development of cities, seeking a balance between the social, economic and environmental dimensions, and always bringing sustainability and innovation components to all development proposals.

As part of you daily tasks, you will be exposed to strategic urban projects and multidisciplinary teams that typically include architects, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists, economists and lawyers, which will give them access to a better understanding of urban complexity in a continuous training environment.

As a Junior Urban Designer at Arup, you will:

• Participate in the department's tasks related to design applied to the conceptualization of projects.
• Get involved in the communication and visualization of urban projects and territorial planning.
• Provide support in the preparation of marketing documentation and offers.

Does this role inspire you?

We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic who is willing to develop their career in the Masterplan & Urban Design field. Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Studies in Architecture or Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in described functions.
• Advanced knowledge of CAD and ArcGIS.
• Fluent level of English and Spanish skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe package (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of Rhinoceros
• Interest in working on international projects and interest in sustainability and innovation
• High organizational and communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of landscaping Knowledge of Grasshopper.
• Experience in urban planning processing.
