In an increasingly competitive marketplace, our Marketing, Communications, and Business Development (MCBD) team enables Arup to build and protect our reputation, deepen client relationships, win quality work, and attract top talent. This role will be key in achieving our strategic market and client ambitions. We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Coordinator who with be aligned to our Property, Science, Industry & Technology (PS&I) Portfolio to join our MCBD function.

Is This Role Right for You?

The Portfolio Marketing Coordinator is a key role dedicated to support the development and delivery of diverse marketing and communications campaigns, including events, and initiatives to build brand, engage clients and support winning work. This role requires a generalist in marketing and communications with strong focus on campaign planning, communications and delivery as well as event management. The role involves provision of marketing and communications support to Marketing Manager/s within the PS&I Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide marketing support for the PS&I Portfolio, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Business Partner (BP) to PS&I.
  • Coordinate the implementation of high priority marketing and communications campaigns with a focus on clients and the external market. This can include target client list development, developing and delivering campaigns, preparation of social media posts and other related content, liaison with external vendors, development of event run sheets, speaker notes, briefing and coordinating with specialist teams within MCBD as required.
  • Support high priority and strategically important internal campaigns and events.
  • Propose ideas to support campaign delivery
  • Collate measurement and feedback reports for campaigns to enable return on investment assessment, identification of standard, opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Input and maintain campaign & event calendar information for the Country/Office
  • Coordination of large- and small-scale high priority client events (virtual and inperson) not limited to invitation, RSVP tracking and reporting, speaker liaison etc.
  • Supplier negotiation, governance, and payment process
  • Coordinate suppliers, e.g., venue management, caterers, and contractors, assist with brief preparation.
  • Manage delivery of events.
  • Manage production of post-event report.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager, support effective leverage of industry associations, memberships, and sponsorships.
  • Coordinate entry to prestigious industry awards across the PS&I Portfolio and promotion of award wins internally and externally.
  • Coordinate the development of project stories from PS&I to highlight exemplary Arup projects and people for promotion on arup.com and through social media channels.
  • Provide support to enable the effective use of Marketo for marketing campaigns and use of social media by leaders and others.
  • Support high priority and strategically important internal campaigns and events.
  • Input and maintain campaign & event calendar information for the PS&I Portfolio and assist in the coordination and scheduling of activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on campaign effectiveness, market trends, undertake basic desktop research etc. as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working in a professional/business environment.
  • Understanding of infrastructure/engineering/property/energy/cities sectors
  • Proven ability to engage with diverse internal and external team members.
  • Strong writing skills with ability to develop and edit copy to a high standard.
  • Demonstrated experience developing content across various channels, including social media, website, and email marketing.
  • Experience in using digital marketing platforms such as CRM and Marketo.
  • Experience in event coordination.
