The opportunity

We are looking for a curious, passionate and skilled student assistant studying Mechanical Engineering (incl. Heating, Cooling, Ventilation/Air Conditioning and Public Health Design), who wants to launch their engineering career and work and learn as part of multi-disciplinary project teams and develop holistic solutions for building projects for Danish and international clients in Denmark and Scandinavia.

As a Mechanical Engineering / Byggeteknologi Student Assistant at Arup, you will:

  • Assist in the design and delivery of complex building projects, collaborating with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Contribute to technical analysis, modelling, and reporting, applying your academic knowledge to real-world challenges.

  • Participate in site visits, client meetings, and project workshops, gaining valuable industry exposure.

     

Does this role inspire you?

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineering / Byggeteknologi student who:

  • Is curious, keen to learn and eager to make a meaningful impact in the buildings sector

  • Is studying Mechanical Engineering and is in the 6th semester of their bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Has an affinity for digital engineering tools, ideally with some first experience

  • Is proficient in English and Danish or another Scandinavian language
