We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for the West New Territories Landfill Extension, which is located at Nim Wan, Tuen Mun, New Territories.
Qualifications & Experience required:
• Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in Civil or Geotechnical discipline or equivalent; OR
• Recognized professional qualification in engineering geology or geology or equivalent, such as Chartered Geologist status of the Geological Society of London, UK; AND
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in blast design and supervision of blasting works; AND
• With valid Mine Blasting Certificate (MBC) issued under regulation 22 of the Mines (Safety) Regulations (Cap. 285B) and qualified in surface or opencast workings is preferred
Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing government’s terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4. Application deadline on or before 21 January 2025.
