The Opportunity

We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for North East New Territories Sewerage System Upgrade under Contract No. DC/2021/02.

Is this role right for you?

Qualifications & Experience required:
• Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; OR
• Successfully completed a recognised technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline, OR
• Successfully completed a recognised craft apprenticeship with 2 years of experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline, OR
• At least 5 years of experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline; AND
• Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above
• With a valid certificate, issued by a person whom the Commissioner for Labour has authorised to certify persons, as being competent to prepare risk assessment reports for works in confined space is preferred.

What we offer you

Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing government’s terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4.
