At Arup, we are looking for a Senior Consultant to strengthen our Organised Innovation Spaces (OIS) - team. The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to deliver advisory services for internal and external clients across the Organized Innovation Spaces (OIS) field. You will be involved in client-facing projects within Science, Industry & Technology and the Cities & Property business sectors, with opportunities to contribute to a broader range of building-related projects as they arise.
Working as a consultant, you will manage your own projects end-to-end, from bidding through to delivery, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
As a Consultant at Arup, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering advisory services including development strategies, business case studies, governance advice, financial mechanisms, market analysis, profiling and positioning, and interim management
- Contributing to master planning, placemaking, landscape and building design, ecosystem activation, target group selection, and economic support initiatives
- Working as part of a team delivering commissions in full compliance with the Arup Management System
- Advising clients on multiple aspects of Organized Innovation Space developments
- Aligning project objectives with client expectations and internal stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying and minimizing project risks
- Supporting team leaders with business development activities, including client relationship development and bid preparation
- Continuously developing your own skills to ensure ongoing flexibility and long-term value for clients
- Supporting the development of new service offerings within the team
Your Profile

- A completed relevant university degree
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work on a project basis and operate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong capability to convey technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform well in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience working as part of large project teams delivering services to external clients is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
