The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Istanbul/Ankara office to strengthen our Electrical Team for local and international projects. 

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:

Undertake electrical-based building services designs,

Working closely with other design engineers, architects, and members of the project management group,

Managing the production of drawings,

Preparing and coordinating the work of others and coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines and project managers,

Attending meetings and communicating with clients to establish their needs.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about work on a variety of prestigious projects in Türkiye and overseas. We also value:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from reputable universities,
• Data centre and industry experience is a major plus/preferred,
• MSc in electrical engineering is preferable,
• Minimum 10 years of design experience,
• Extensive experience in the field of electrical design and experience across a range of medium to large scale projects and/or building types,
• Ability to design and deliver electrical engineering solutions on major and/or complex projects,
• Experience of leading electrical teams on multi-disciplinary projects,
• Able to understand the balance of engineering priorities on differing projects,
• Able to quickly develop successful client relationships,
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential,
• Excellent planning and organization skills,
• Fluency in English is a must.
