The Opportunity

This is your chance to be part of a team where you will have the opportunity to work on Industrial and Energy projects across existing and new clients to secure a strong pipeline of work.

As a Senior Energy Consultant at Arup, you will:

• Coordinate Energy and Industry Projects.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Manage the delivery of bids, reports, and other documents, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
• Support project monitoring, document quality control, and financial control of project costs and budgets.
• Participate in internal and external meetings, client interactions, supplier management, and site visits.

Does this role inspire you?

We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic who is eager to provide a vision and priorities in the Industrial and Energy Services in Arup in Madrid.  Ideally, you’ll bring:

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• +6 years of experience developing and implementing energy/industrial design projects with a strong engineering background.
• +6 years of experience in Oil and Gas or Industry processes that has the knowledge and expertise to develop the business in the following areas: Industrial decarbonization, Biofuels, Hydrogen and Carbon Capture.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team.
• A strong interest in the Energy and Industry sectors within the construction industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
