ポジション概要 
ビルディングエンジニアリングチームにて、シニア電気設備エンジニアを募集します。

設備リーダーのもと、約30名のエンジニアで構成されるビルディングエンジニアリングチームの一員として、電気設備設計業務を担当していただきます。

本ポジションでは、建築プロジェクトにおける電気設備設計業務を担当いただき、機械設備、構造、ファサードエンジニアリングをはじめとする多様な専門分野のエンジニアと連携しながらプロジェクトを推進していただきます。

Arup Japanは、建築設備、再生可能エネルギーおよび関連分野における設計・アドバイザリーサービスを提供するマルチディシプリナリーなエンジニアリング・コンサルティングファームです。東京オフィス内の各専門分野に加え、Arupグループの海外オフィスとも協働しながら、包括的なアプローチによるプロジェクト遂行およびサービス提供に取り組んでいます。

経験豊富な電気設備エンジニアとして、設計業務だけでなく、多分野チームとの調整や技術的な課題解決を通じて、プロジェクトの成功に貢献いただきます。

主な業務内容 

• 建築プロジェクトにおける電気設備設計業務の遂行 
• 機械設備、構造、ファサードエンジニアリングおよびその他関連分野の専門家との調整・協働 
• 日本の電気関連法規、技術基準および関連規格に基づく設計計算、仕様書、図面および技術報告書の作成 
• クライアント、官公庁、施工者等の社外ステークホルダーとの調整 
• 各種申請、承認対応および設計・施工段階における技術的な質疑への対応 
• 現場確認、技術レビューおよびデザイン監査への参加 
• 品質、コストおよびスケジュール目標の達成に向けたプロジェクト計画、リソース管理および工程管理への貢献 
• 東京オフィスおよび海外オフィスとの連携によるプロジェクト推進 
• 経験に応じて、担当分野のリードまたは大規模プロジェクトにおける分野リードのサポート

応募資格 
必須経験 

• 日本国内で8年以上の電気設備設計実務経験 
• 日本の電気関連法規、技術基準、申請・承認プロセスに関する十分な理解 
• 日本語での電気設備設計実務経験

学歴・資格 

• エンジニアリング分野（建築、電気工学、電子工学等）における学士号以上 
• 一級建築士、設備設計一級建築士、建築設備士、第三種電気主任技術者などの資格を保有している方、または取得を目指している方

Position Overview 
We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer (Electrical) to join our Building Engineering Team.

As part of a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30 engineers, you will deliver electrical building services design across a variety of building projects while collaborating closely with specialists in Mechanical Building Services, Structural Engineering, Façade Engineering and other disciplines.

Arup Japan provides design and advisory services across building engineering, renewable energy and related sectors. In addition to collaborating with specialists across the Tokyo office, you will work with colleagues throughout Arup’s global network to deliver projects and develop services through an integrated and holistic approach.

As an experienced electrical engineer, you will contribute not only through technical design delivery but also through multidisciplinary coordination, technical problem solving and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver electrical building services design across a range of building projects 
• Coordinate and collaborate with specialists in Mechanical Building Services, Structural Engineering, Façade Engineering and other related disciplines 
• Prepare electrical design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports in accordance with Japanese regulations, technical standards and related codes 
• Liaise with clients, authorities, contractors and other external stakeholders 
• Support submissions, approvals and technical queries during design and construction phases 
• Participate in site inspections, technical reviews and design audits as required 
• Contribute to project planning, resource management and programme delivery to achieve quality, cost and schedule objectives 
• Support project delivery through collaboration with both Tokyo-based and overseas Arup teams

Requirements 
Required Experience 

• 8+ years of hands-on electrical building services design experience in Japan 
• Strong understanding of Japanese electrical regulations, technical standards, and application and approval processes 
• Experience delivering electrical design work in Japanese-language project environments

Education & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering-related discipline such as Architecture, Electrical Engineering or Electronics 
• First-Class Architect, First-Class Equipment Design Architect, Building Services Engineer, Third-Class Electrical Chief Engineer, or equivalent professional qualification, or currently working towards obtaining one

Compensation & Benefits 
Expected Annual Salary: JPY 5.7 million to 11 million, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus Profit Share.
