The Opportunity
The incumbent will be responsible for providing support on the execution and monitoring of the Smart Passenger Security Screening System (PSSS) project at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). This will be a contract position based in the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) office at HKIA (exact duration to be confirmed).
The Senior Operation Officer, Security will report to the Assistant Manager, Security Projects of Airport Security Team at Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK).
- Coordinate the PSSS operations with Aviation Security Company Limited (AVSECO) during the screening equipment replacement;
- Support the project implementation and communicate with AAHK technical teams (including but not limited to Technical Services Systems, Technical Services Infrastructure, and Information Technology, etc.)
- Attend to site for monitoring of PSSS replacement/ installation progress;
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for attending meetings, review and distribute the meeting records to stakeholders; and
- Support the execution of other security technological projects when required.
Normal office hours will be from 0900hrs to 1800hrs Monday to Friday (exclude public holidays). May be required to work outside office hours occasionally to support project implementation.

Is this role right for you?
- Degree holder in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines;
- Minimum of 3 years in project management experience; experience in airport security operations is an advantage;
- Strong project management, problem solving and analytics skills;
- Independent, open-minded, good interpersonal and organization skills; and
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred.
