The primary focus of the Senior Process Engineer role will be to lead the process activities on water, wastewater, energy and waste projects across the planning, feasibility, design and delivery stages, and support the Design Manager or Project Manager on larger water infrastructure projects.  This will involve working across multi-disciplinary teams and geographies.

The Opportunity

  • Accountable for significant and complex activities or projects including predicting and planning future resources.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of others by providing guidance, training, motivation, and direction to staff.
  • Take a longer-term strategic view of the business and contribute to the development plan of Arup.
  • Setting budgets and negotiating agreements with customers and suppliers to achieve financial targets.
  • Represent Arup at internal and external meetings, events, and conferences. 
  • Manage internal resources and provide line management for team members

Is this role right for you?

  • Recognised qualifications in Chemistry/Chemical/Sanitary/Process Engineering or similar area.
  • Licensed Engineer in the Philippines
  • Relevant industry experience in Process Engineering in the water and wastewater sector including development of designs and project engineering work.
  • At least 10 years professional experience in relevant sectors with good knowledge DENR standards.
  • Experience undertaking and managing design work including sizing of treatment plants and process units.
  • Experience with process simulation tools and software, such as GPS-x and Biowin
  • Experience in on site assessment and site visits to determined operating conditions
  • Experience in presenting findings to range of technical and none technical stakeholders.
  • Organised and structured approach to tasks.
  • Visualisation and data presentation skills
  • Able to multi-task and work on several projects at the same time, without sacrificing quality of output
  • Experience of municipal water clients and projects would be an advantage.
