Arup is looking for a skilled and driven Strategic Transport Modeller to support and strengthen our transport planning capability through strategic modelling and data analytics. You’ll work on high-impact projects, shaping future mobility through policy planning, business cases, and technical advisory roles for major transport initiatives. The Opportunity

·       Lead the development and application of strategic transport models and data analytics for complex, future-focused infrastructure and policy projects.

·       Contribute to transport strategies, business cases, and advisory work across road, public transport, and multimodal networks.

·       Represent Arup at internal and external stakeholder meetings, offering insights grounded in data and modelling expertise.

·       Mentor junior staff, provide technical guidance, and support the growth of the modelling and analytics team.

·       Assist in shaping Arup’s modelling capabilities and contribute to long-term strategic planning and business development.

Is this role right for you?

·       5–7 years’ experience in strategic transport modelling and analytics, with proven success in infrastructure or policy project delivery.

·       Proficiency in modelling platforms such as Cube Voyager, and strong analytics skills using Python, R, SQL, or GIS tools.

·       A degree in transport planning, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related field.

·       Experience in demand forecasting, network analysis, data workflow automation, and technical reporting.

·       Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights.
