The Senior Urban Designer role at Arup involves delivering high-quality planning and urban design analysis, documentation, and visualization across various spatial scales, including local to city-wide projects. This position requires managing project components, engaging with clients, and providing technical support to the team.
The Opportunity
- Deliver high-quality planning and urban design analysis, documentation, and visualization for masterplanning and transit-oriented development projects.
- Manage components of project delivery and engage with clients to deliver key content.
- Conduct spatial analysis to understand project context and opportunities across various urban typologies.
- Develop conceptual designs and visually present analysis and ideas using hand sketches and software like Adobe Creative Suite and 3D software.
- Support project management and delivery, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
Is this role right for you?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or related programs.
- At least 10 years of experience as an Urban Designer on large multi-disciplinary city-shaping projects.
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines in Indonesia.
- Expertise in BIM and proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other similar BIM software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a creative approach to problem-solving.
