The Opportunity

As a Senior Water Engineer at Arup, you will:

  • Be involved in preparation of study/concept/design documentation for Polish and international projects 

  • Participate in hydrological analyses and calculations 

  • Perform analyses of flooding and development of remedial measures

  • Preparate technical drawings 

  • Be part of the development of hydraulic models for drains / rivers / reservoirs / dams

 

Does this role inspire you?

We're looking for someone who believes that it is possible to achieve sustainable development and execute ambitious water projects, all while prioritizing the care and enhancement of the natural environment.

We also value:

  • Experience of a minimum of eight years in the field of water, specifically in hydrology and hydraulic modelling.

  • Understanding of the complexity of hydrological processes and ability to calculate and model them.

  • Expertise in hydraulic modelling and a deep understanding of objectives and limitations in their application.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire teams.

  • People being open to speak up with their initiatives and potential new solutions.

  • Open-mindedness for digital solutions.

  • Good level of English, knowledge of German would be an additional benefit.
