The Opportunity
This is a full-time, six-month internship (“pasantía”, in Spanish).
Assisting with the development of innovative, sustainable and socially responsible solutions/projects to environmental problems, challenges and dynamics.
Understanding and integrating national and international regulatory environment for gaining approval and viability at different stages of project delivery.
Performing exciting teamwork to evaluate, select, and apply national and international environmental engineering planning standards and design techniques, procedures, and criteria for site development and master planning projects.
Attending decision making scenarios with clients and other relevant stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design issues.
Helping review and produce reports for environmental due diligence processes in Colombia and LatAm.
Is this role right for you?
Working towards a bachelor’s or undergraduate degree (“pregrado”, in Spanish) in Anthropology, Political Sciences, Sociology, or related subjects.
Advanced proficiency (verbal and written, B2 or above) in English.
Sound knowledge of national and international environmental aspects, citizen participation, community engagement, ethnic communities, resettlement issues or gender equity, among others.
Professional demeanor.
Outstanding communication skills essential for team-based working.
Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.

Bogotá Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Bogotá is COP 1,750,000 to COP 1,850,000 per month. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Bogotá will differ.
