The Opportunity
Start your career in energy consulting and gain hands-on experience working on diverse projects that address critical challenges in the energy transition.
This is your chance to support and join a team that has established a reputation for supporting global projects, both Spanish and international. We offer consulting, advisory, design and planning support services to the main commercial, industrial and institutional clients in Spain and around the world.
As an Energy Efficiency Trainee at Arup, you will:
- Support the delivery of consulting services across a range of areas, including decarbonization, energy transition and energy efficiency.
- Contribute to techno-economic studies, energy audits, and feasibility assessments for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams, including Climate and Sustainability specialists, to provide holistic solutions.
- Develop your expertise in energy modeling software and apply it to real-world projects.
- Gain exposure to client interactions and project management, building valuable consulting skills.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Currently studying a degree or masters in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Fluent level of English and Spanish skills.
- Interest industrial preferably, or commercial building energy audits.
- Interest in building physics, building energy modelling, energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
Conditions
- Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
- Immediate incorporation
- Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
- Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
- Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
