Our Transport Planning and Infrastructure team delivers a range of urban and rural projects, including bridges, railways, trackwork, road improvements, and sustainable transport solutions.

The Opportunity

Join our vibrant team as a BIM Modeller and contribute to delivering infrastructure design projects. This role offers the chance to develop your BIM and digital design skills, working on projects at various stages from concept and planning to detailed design and construction. 

As a BIM Modeller at Arup, you will:

• Deliver infrastructure, bridge, and trackwork design models to required technical standards, reporting to the team leader or project manager,

• Prepare BIM Models and 2D/3D drawings to support technical designs, adhering to approved standards and project requirements,

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including project managers and other design disciplines,

• Participate in model and drawing production processes, with opportunities for training and upskilling in relevant BIM software.

Does this role inspire you?

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating accurate, high-quality BIM models and drawings for infrastructure, bridges, and railway trackwork. We also value:

• Skills in BIM modelling and 2D/3D CAD (Revit and Civil 3D required, Infraworks preferable),

• 3 years' experience in bridge and railway infrastructure projects,

• Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE),

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English,

• Attention to detail and the ability to work through complex processes,

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team,

• Awareness of BIM and drawing/model production processes.
