Transport Planning Intern (Available July 2025)

The opportunity
- This is a full-time, six-month internship (Pasantía) running during the 2nd semester, from July 2025 to January 2026
- Conducting background research on specific locations, strategies or policies
- Data collection and analysis
- Completing and documenting technical analyses
- Report writing
- Performing analyses using a variety of tools including Excel, PowerBI, GIS, R, FME and (depending on the project) more detailed tools such as Massmotion, SYNCHRO, Vissim, EMME, HASTUS, and Remix.
- Attending team, consultant and client meetings
- Presentations
- Working with people from other disciplines to gain knowledge on new subjects.

- Pursuing their bachelor’s degree (Pregrado) transportation, economics, industrial or civil engineering, or related field required
- Advanced proficiency (verbal and written, B2 or above) in English
- The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment
- Strong skills in handling large databases and in analyzing data using tools like Excel, SPSS, or Python.
- Experience using Vissim, EMME, CAD, GIS, R, Python or other analytical and modeling software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
- Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
- Ability to contribute to projects our team works on
- Ability to dissect problems and develop effective solutions
- Must be eligible to work in Colombia without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
- Candidates must be enrolled at one of the following universities to be considered, as we currently have agreements in place with these universities: Universidad de los Andes, Universidad Nacional de Colombia - Sede Bogota, Universidad del Rosario, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad Central, Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, Universidad de la Sabana, Universidad El Bosque
