Arup is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Designer / Senior Architect to join our Singapore team. This role focuses on providing hands-on design and technical support to the group, and documentation for a wide variety of projects in Infrastructure, Science and Industry, Sports and Leisure, asset enhancement and other architecture and planning projects.
The Opportunity
- Prepare concept designs, detailed architectural drawings at all scales and project stages, and produce space proofing diagrams, architectural reports, and visualisations.
- Develop urban design and planning concepts, including drawings, diagrams, reports, and presentation materials across a range of projects.
- Support team leaders, architects, and planners in the preparation of high-quality project documentation, presentations, and detailed drawings in line with Arup’s standards.
- Manage assigned project components with minimal supervision, including planning and overseeing the work of junior staff to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Represent the team at external meetings, author non-standard correspondence and reports, contribute to internal initiatives, and provide guidance, training, and feedback to support team development.

Is this role right for you?
Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture;
- At least with 5 years’ experience in similar role with a strong career focus on design and within a consulting business environment
- Preferably be a Registered Architect in Singapore or in the process of seeking professional qualification
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines in Singapore – and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S
- Proficient in BIM and Autodesk Revit, Sketch-up, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Illustrator or other 3D software is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools
