Arup is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Designer / Senior Architect to join our Singapore team. This role focuses on providing hands-on design and technical support to the group, and documentation for a wide variety of projects in Infrastructure, Science and Industry, Sports and Leisure, asset enhancement and other architecture and planning projects.

The Opportunity 

• Lead and oversee design and project delivery across the architecture practice, driving excellence in execution through the integration of sustainable design, innovative technologies, and circular economy principles.
• Coordinate with project teams on large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects to ensure sound delivery and rigorous design quality reviews.
• Mentor and train junior and mid-level staff, fostering skill growth, team capability, and maintaining motivation under pressure.
• Collaborate with leaders to set project directions, manage budgets, achieve commercial outcomes, and pursue new opportunities across infrastructure, buildings, and consulting.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, work effectively across technical and non-technical environments, and represent the organization at events and in project delivery initiatives.

Is this role right for you? 

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture;

   

• At least with 7 years’ experience at leading design practices with a strong career focus on design and within a consulting business environment
• Preferably be a Registered Architect in Singapore  
• Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines in Singapore – and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S
• Proficient in BIM and Autodesk Revit, Sketch-up, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Illustrator or other 3D software is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft office tools
