The Opportunity

  • This is a full-time, six-month internship (Pasantía) running during the 2nd semester, from July 2025 to January 2026

  • Assisting with the development of innovative solutions to environmental problems

  • Understanding the regulatory environment in Colombia for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery

  • Working with the team to evaluate, select, and apply standard environmental engineering planning and design techniques, procedures, 

    and criteria for site development and master planning projects

     

  • Help review project information and produce reports for environmental due diligence processes and sustainability frameworks in Colombia and LatAm.

 

Is this role right for you?

  • Working Pursuing their bachelor’s degree (Pregrado) in Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related subjects.

  • Advanced proficiency (verbal and written, B2 or above) in English

  • Sound knowledge of environmental aspects, environmental impact assessment studies, socioenvironmental risk analysis, environmental permits, sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting, among others.

  • Good communication (written and oral) skills essential for team-based working

  • Professional demeanor

  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment

  • Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges

  • Candidates must be enrolled at one of the following universities to be considered, as we currently have agreements in place with these universities: Universidad Central, Universidad Nacional de Colombia based in Bogota, Universidad de la Sabana, Universidad El Bosque, Universidad del Rosario, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana based in Bogotá, Universidad de los Andes, Escuela Colombiana de Ingenieros.

Bogota, Colombia Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in this office is from COP 1,750,000 to COP 1,850,000 per month. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Bogota will differ.
