The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join Arup’s globally recognised Acoustics, Audio Visual and Theatre Consulting team and play an important role in shaping its continued growth. The position offers the chance to work at the intersection of technical excellence, client engagement and strategic development, contributing to high-profile projects across both the Property and Infrastructure sectors.
The role will have a strong focus on business development and project delivery in India and the Middle East, offering the opportunity to help expand Arup’s presence in these important markets. Alongside delivering complex and high-quality work, the successful candidate will help build and strengthen the team in India, supporting ambitious growth plans through effective leadership, performance management and the development of complementary skills across the team.
This opportunity also offers significant scope to collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across Arup’s global offices, coordinating resources on complex projects and ensuring successful delivery against both quality and commercial objectives. Just as importantly, the role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, government agencies, contractors and wider industry networks, positioning the successful candidate as a trusted partner and a visible contributor to Arup’s long-term success in the region.

Is this role right for you?
We are looking for candidates with:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Acoustic Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of consulting and project management experience, delivering complex projects in India and internationally.
Significant expertise and national and local policy knowledge in building acoustics, audio-visual design, and environmental noise impact assessment.
A well-developed network of client contacts in the Property Sector and preferably Rail sector.
Substantial experience, and strong leadership skills in team building and management.
Expertise in vibration assessment.
