Primary Focus
The Water Engineer will provide technical support in hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage engineering for infrastructure, master planning, and environmental projects.  This role will assist senior engineers in delivering modelling, design, and reporting tasks across local and regional projects.

The Opportunity:

  • Support delivery of engineering tasks and small project components under supervision.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation for hydrological and hydraulic studies.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute technical inputs as required.
  • Support preparation of drawings, models, and technical documentation.
  • Follow established project management procedures and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (civil, environmental, structural) as needed.
  • Assist with hydrological and hydraulic modelling, including:
    • Rainfall-runoff analysis
    • Drainage network modelling
    • Basic flood assessment studies
    • Water/waste water infrastructure
    • Stormwater drainage systems
    • Flood mitigation measures
    • Water resource planning

Is this role right for you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, or drainage (fresh graduates welcome).
  • Familiarity with:
    • Basic hydraulic modelling tools
    • Engineering design standards (Indonesian and/or international)
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive and eager to learn in a professional environment.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
  • Demonstrates accountability for assigned work.
