The Opportunity

The T2 Permit Coordinator will assume responsibility will be responsible for providing business administration, management, and support services at a Site Level to assist in the day-to-day functional activities carried out on the Scheme on which they have been deployed, in compliance with the NTA’s policies and procedures in relation to the delivery of Core Bus Corridor Infrastructure Works (CBCIW). This may include the provision support to the NTA's team with the facilities management, the provision of IT and HR support.

The specific document control tasks and areas of responsibility the Business Support Officer may be required to oversee and provide support for are primarily included in Section 6.E of Appendix 1 to the Client Partner Scope of Services

 

As a Permit Coordinator at Arup, you will:

  • Required to have 5+ years’ experience in business administration and a proven track record of carrying out business administration activities in high value road and / or infrastructure projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity to CBCIW.
  • Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following is desirable:
    • Providing secretarial support to management within fast paced and challenging environments
    • Providing administrative support and organisation to senior leaders
    • Delivery of work under time pressure and with conflicting priorities and
    • Taking ownership of activities to drive desired outcomes.

  • Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies;
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service delivery;
  • Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues;
  • Ability to step back from the detail and take a holistic overview;
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and deliver consistent service;
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage client expectations and deliver within agreed parameters; and
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment both on their own initiative and as part of a team

 

Education Qualification:

  • Required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject.
